She’s a sensitive girl who is very in tune with her surroundings and thrives in a calm, respectful environment where her feelings are understood and honored. She loves affection and will happily soak up love and snuggles when she’s in the mood, but she’s equally appreciative of people who can recognize when she needs a little quiet time or personal space. Esquia does best with humans who let her set the pace and who understand that trust and connection grow strongest when they’re built with patience and respect. Esquia is still working on her dog-to-dog social skills, so she would need to be the only dog in the home for now. In the right environment, she blossoms into a deeply loyal companion who forms a strong bond with her people. This special girl will shine brightest in a peaceful, understanding home that values gentle companionship over chaos. Any family lucky enough to earn Esquia’s trust will gain a devoted, loving friend! Volunteers love her uniquely soft coat!
