About Mack Mcwiggles Your Happy
This happy guy is named Mack McWiggles! Mack is the life of the party- a friend to all, and a force of positivity and hilarity. Most of the time, you will find Mack out back in the yard chillin on a lawn chair. He loves to sit in any chair he can find. Mack is also a big fan of nature TV, and he will stand and watch it all day! He’s a big ole goofball that you just can’t help but fall head over heels for. The most important things to remember about Mack are right here: He’s a great adventure dog, a snugglebug, kid-friendly, and dog-friendly! Fall in love with Mack here, you won’t be able to resist! https://youtu.be/6eqTCByVxIw?si=WeXdZ3KBAxpKdIou We think Mack is a Lab, Pittie mix, just two years and 6 months old. He is a rescue, so these are just our best guesses! Mack currently weighs in at a highly huggable 55 pounds. Mack is a total socialite, he does great with humans in any environment. His foster family regularly takes him out and about, and he does really well in public! He’s easy in the car, great on leash, and friendly with everyone that he meets- a total “go anywhere dog.” Mack is a fun-loving guy, but he knows when to chill too. He soaks up attention with so much gratitude. This sweet boy is ready to adore, and be adored by you. Mack is a big softie, he thinks he is the perfect lap dog, funny enough. Mack enjoys chilling on the couch snuggling with his blankets. And when he is ready to go to bed he walks to his kennel, opens the door, walks in and closes it behind him. His foster family says they always know when he is ready for bed! How cute is that?! Mack also enjoys watching TV, yes TV and loves the animal channel. So get ready for Sunday movie nights with Mack because he's already got the popcorn. Mack is great with kids, and kids are great with Mack! Mack has a childlike wonder for the world, and it feels like kids see that in him. He’s best friends with a two year old and a four year old, and watching them interact is truly heartwarming. His foster says that Mack spends a lot of time with their mom who is 67 and he has become her best friend. He is good at "reading the room". When it's time to play, he is all in, but when it's time for her to get her rest, he has no problem joining her on the couch. Mack was born to be a family dog, and he’s so ready to meet his forever family. Mack is currently fostered in a home with two other dogs, he gets along well with both! Mack’s playstyle is very “life of the party,” so we think he would do best in a home with another playful pup, that won’t mind a game of chase, or romping around the yard together. He loved playing with his friend Zen (who really isn't all that Zen LOL). They had the best time together meeting up for a play date bouncing around, playing chase, bumping into each other and keeping things light. If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too! Mack is a confident lover boy all on his own and he'll love the extra attention. With all of that love for life, Mack also has a great ability to learn. He knows a handful of commands already, and he loves treats. He'll do anything for a tasty snack. He is very well mannered, and knows how to sit, stay, place, loose leash walk, and kennel. His foster has taken the time to provide extra training for him in the home, so he is ready to go to his forever family! Mack’s foster family brags that this smart boy is already crate and potty trained, he picked it up quickly and has wonderful house manners. Mack also enjoys his playtime with us humans, he loves to play with toys, and he’s a great fetch player! He doesn’t destroy his toys, so no mess in your home! He loves treats, and adores his Kong. He also loves footballs and soccer balls so some would say he is a sports fans DREAM! Imagine a life where even your dog wants to play your favorite sport with you. He is such a dream! So get ready to have the best days of your life laughing and giggling with him. Honestly, we don’t know how he could get any better! Mack’s ideal home has a backyard for him to zoom in, maybe another doggy sibling or two (his size or larger) and dog savvy older kids, that will know how to play with his big, goofy pittie energy. He would fit in perfectly with folks who enjoy the great outdoors, going for hikes, or maybe even a road trip to some state and national parks! He could even have his picture taken in each of them as a souvenir. Come to think of it, I don’t think there’s a better one than that! Mugs and magnets could never compare to that cuteness! Mack does request that we not force him to live with any kitties! We are willing to test Mack with anything you may need to ensure that he is a perfect fit for your family, home and life. We can make most anything happen. Just let us know! So, if you’re down for a goofy guy to smother you with his love, you can go ahead and stop the search right now. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
