Meet Joy, a clever and affectionate Black Lab-Border Collie mix, born in June 2025 and ready to become the bright spot in your life. Weighing approximately 35 pounds, she is a young, high-energy companion who is eager to learn and aims to please. Her intelligence shines through as she quickly understands commands and responds well to gentle correction, already mastering household manners like "no jump." Joy is a well-mannered girl who is both kennel trained and reliably housebroken, making for a smooth transition into her new home. She sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate and even goes in willingly. She has shown herself to be wonderfully social, getting along great with other dogs and being gentle and friendly with children. Her history with cats is unknown, but she loves all people and walks nicely on a leash. Joy also travels calmly in the car, making her an excellent companion for adventures. While she has only known a backyard so far, she would adapt well to apartment living with a committed owner who can provide her with sufficient physical exercise and mental engagement.
