A daydreamer, a lover, and a giver, our Whimsy girl embodies a special kind of magic. This stunning tortoiseshell mama fluttered into a foster home at the beginning of February with six kittens in tow. Several weeks later, her babies are chasing a new fairy tale – and she, too, is eager for her happily ever after. Whimsy is exceptionally calm, never showing a whisker of aggression. She has a wide vocabulary, with crispy, soft, or sharp meows depending on how she is feeling–and a purr you can hear for miles. One of her special quirks is that she will rub against your hands and show off her pointy teeth. Whimsy loves to lie nearby on the couch in the evenings, but in the bedroom, she is the biggest snuggle bug. She requires at least ten minutes of chin scratches before she is ready to settle down at your feet for bedtime! Whimsy also enjoys peeking out at the patio and finding yummy things to snack on. As a newly domesticated cat, her new owner will need to be careful about keeping their plants out of reach, any food locked away, and keeping their screen door closed so she doesn’t stray too far! She can also be playful, finding joy in a feather toy or romps with her kittens. We could see Whimsy thriving in any kind of home.
