Jackie was part of a litter that was seen being thrown out of a truck during the recent TX freeze. She is a three month old Shepherd mix who is friendly, affectionate, and LOVES attention. She is curious about the world but can be a little shy at first. Jackie is playful and full of puppy energy. She enjoys toys, wags her tail often, and is eager to please. She is sweet and lovable, and once she warms up, she happily engages with her people. She may be vocal when she is hungry, playing, or asking for attention, which is typical for a young pup. She is currently trained to use potty pads or a specific corner indoors and will need help learning to potty outside. Jackie will benefit from consistent training and a patient home that understands the needs of a growing puppy. Jackie does not need a companion dog, but another steady dog in the home could help her build confidence and learn routines and she would love the companion to play with. She will thrive with a family ready to guide her through puppyhood and give her the time, structure, and love she needs. Jackie is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 03/07/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.
