She survived outdoors with the help of a kind local Good Samaritan who made sure she never went hungry. But while love was plentiful, resources were not. When Potato finally came into our care, it was clear she needed more than food. Her tiny pink nose was bleeding, and she was battling a painful upper respiratory infection. Despite everything she had been through, Potato remained gentle and trusting. With a few weeks of rest, warm blankets, and plenty of medication, she slowly began to heal. Day by day, her strength returned, her eyes brightened, and her sweet personality truly blossomed. Now Potato is ready for the next — and best — chapter of her life. This beautiful long-haired tuxedo girl has decided she’s officially retiring from outdoor living. No more surviving the elements. No more community life. Potato is searching for an indoor-only home filled with cozy naps, soft voices, and all the love she’s been waiting for. She is an absolute sweetheart with a tender heart and a calm, affectionate nature. Whether she’s lounging nearby or soaking up gentle pets, Potato’s favorite place will always be right where her people are. Potato has done her time out in the world.
