WHAT IS YOUR NAME? Hiiiii!!! I’m Winnie! ARE YOU A BOY OR A GIRL? I’m the most adorable little lady! HOW OLD ARE YOU? Our best estimate is that I am around 2-1/2 years old at the beginning of 2026. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a French Bulldog. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I am a perfectly proportioned 20 pounds of cute! WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? Is “adorable” the right answer here? Because that’s what I look like! I am a little fawn-colored potato with big ears, adoring eyes, and the cutest Frenchie pout ever. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I love food!! My meals are a combination of kibble plus some tasty fresh food to make it exciting. And I have discovered just how amazing cheese and peanut butter are! More of that please! WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am the most perfect combination of sweet and spicy. I have my opinions about ALL the things, and I am not shy about sharing my thoughts. But deep down I am a love bug who just wants to kiss you and show you how happy I am to be with you. I am learning how to be a dog and am enjoying playtime, but just in short bursts with plenty of naptime in between. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: That’s an easy one! Let’s have some food (obviously), a couple walks to check out the goings-on in the neighborhood, some playtime with a dog friend, lots of naps, and close out the day with bedtime cuddles. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? Oh boy, do I ever! I love ALL the toys. But I do have a favorite. He’s a little blue rhino that has a ball for a belly, makes a fun squeaky sound, and his arms and legs are soft so I can nibble on them. I love my rhino! DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I am very good at “sit” and I am working hard on “place.” Foster dad is teaching me to go to a particular spot on command, and he is so proud at how quickly I am learning. I am pretty smart! It helps that I am food motivated (did I mention the cheese and the peanut butter?), so learning is a lot of fun! WHAT SCARES YOU? I am a little wary of new people and need to give them a few barks so they know not to mess with me. But once I realize the stranger is actually a friend, I will show them my love bug side, and we will be best friends for life! HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? I have been around kids of all ages, and I did really well. But I would do best with older kids who will not be afraid when I jump up due to my excitement. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I think I’ll stick to dogs and humans, thanks! HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I am having so much fun with my foster brother, Jasper! He’s a little rat terrier and we have a great time playing. With proper introductions, I would love to have a buddy to play with! IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I would be happy anywhere that there are people who love me and feed me and play with me… Yes, it really is all about me! HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? You saw that I am a Frenchie, right? Yeah, so if you know, you know. I have some skin allergies so I take Apoquel to keep the itchies away, and I should have regular skin/coat maintenance like cleaning my skin folds, wiping my paws, and taking care of ear infections that crop up from time to time. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH IN YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with my foster mom and dad, and their two rat terriers. I don’t play favorites between the humans. They both love me and take good care of me. And I do love playing with my foster brother, Jasper. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? For the few occasions that they leave me alone, I am a very good girl to just chill in the house. I don’t get into any mischief at all. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? Bedtime is just one big pajama party in foster mom and dad’s bed with all three of us dogs! I love to burrow under the covers and sometimes I steal my foster dad’s spot. Hee hee! DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I am a very good girl on leash! We go on a couple walks a day, and I just love to explore and check out all the sights and smells. DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? As I mentioned earlier, I do have some “stranger danger” tendencies and will bark at new people until I realize they’re not a threat to me and my people. It’s usually when I am on leash that I feel the need to alert everyone to potential dangers, and I am not as defensive off leash. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)? I am! Just tell me where you want me to go and have patience with me as I figure out the routine, and then I’ll be all over it! DO YOU LIKE WATER? I get baths regularly to help with my itchies and, well… I will tolerate them, but I don’t think it is accurate to say that I “like” water. Oh, and since I am a Frenchie, I am just not built for water activities, so I need to be kept safe around pools or other large bodies of water, please! WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? What’s not to love? My foster mom and dad have kept me safe and they take such great care of me. My foster dad works from home, which is super great since I love being with humans the most! And I have a dog friend to play tug with, which I am learning is a lot of fun! IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOUR FUTURE ADOPTER? Oh geez… I have SO much to tell you!
