Gator is as special as they come and not just because of his stunning golden eyes and beautiful markings, but because of his adorable extra toes. This handsome polydactyl boy sports big front mittens that make him extra charming and extra good at holding onto plush toys. He was found homeless with his mother and siblings and he has been learning what it means to feel safe and loved. Like his siblings, Gator can be shy at first. He will take a little time to settle in and understand that everything around him is safe. But place him gently on your lap, and you will hear his steady purr that starts almost immediately. It is his quiet way of saying he feels secure. Gator has incredibly soft fur and a calm, sweet nature. Once he is comfortable, he enjoys plush toys, gentle playtime, and cozy snuggle sessions. His big mittens make him especially adorable when he is batting at his favorite toys. He would thrive in a patient home and would be happiest being adopted with one of his siblings, Gopher or Giselle. Having a familiar companion will help him build confidence and adjust more easily to a new environment. Gator may need a little time to warm up, but with patience and gentle reassurance, hell blossom into a loving, devoted companion.
