Meet Clinton 🐾 At 9 weeks old, Clinton is a tiny mixed-breed bundle of energy (possibly a Chihuahua mix… but your guess is as good as ours!). One thing is certain — his life motto is: "Not afraid to live life to the fullest.” And he means it. Clinton is all about action. He loves to play and keeps up confidently with his bigger foster brother and sister. Once he’s settled into his environment, he zooms around the house like a little bullet — which explains why most of his photos are adorable, blurry action shots! After a full day of play, Clinton sleeps well in his crate and enjoys recharging for his next adventure. He’s still working on potty training but knows how to use a puppy pad. With consistency and routine, he’ll keep improving. Clinton adores people — truly *all* people. He’s wonderful with kids of all ages and loves being part of the action. He actually prefers being carried over walking on a leash and is happiest curled up in your lap — especially if there’s a heated blanket involved. Cozy king behavior Now let’s talk about food — because Clinton certainly would. He loves food and snacks… maybe a little too much. He does show resource guarding behaviors toward other dogs when it comes to his food, though never toward humans. People can handle his food or bowl without any issue at all. For everyone’s safety and comfort, Clinton will need to eat separately from other pets and have his own dedicated feeding space. He also tends to eat very quickly (so enthusiastically that he can make himself sick), and a slow feeder is being introduced to help him pace himself. Outside of mealtime, Clinton enjoys the company of other dogs and loves playing with them. He also likes supervising kitchen activities — all those wonderful smells are simply irresistible! Clinton may take a little time to warm up in a new environment, but once he feels safe and settled, his playful, affectionate personality shines. He would thrive in almost any loving home, as long as his family can provide a separate space for meals and continue working on healthy feeding habits. Clinton is on the hunt for an active, energetic FURever family with plenty of interaction, puppy playmates and even a kiddo or two! He will also need a fenced in yard where he can play and explore safely.
