About Mabel
Mabel is a four-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a bold streak and a sharp sense of humor. Sitting at roughly 60 pounds, she commands respect from everyone—her bonded mate Larry included. Mabel doesn’t shy away from voicing her opinions, especially to other dogs passing by. She’s confident, smart, and completely aware of her charisma. Mabel and Larry developed their bond in boarding, complementing each other like two sitcom leads—she’s the rule-enforcer and he’s the goofball. They have to be adopted together and can’t share their home with other pets, but honestly, their energy and dynamic provide more than enough. With people, they’re nothing but affectionate and quick to greet you with enthusiastic, slightly toothy kisses. Expect laughter, mayhem, and a lot of love packed into this duo. Mabel is heartworm positive and on a slow-kill treatment, so she’ll need ongoing prevention throughout her life. She’s a Sagittarius, so expect her to bring adventurous energy into your home.
