My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me. Mishka (Pinkie) Mishka is a gorgeous 35-pound female Siberian Husky. She is still a puppy at just 10-11 months old. We are awaiting DNA test results to see if she is mixed with anything else. She was surrendered to HSNBA by her owner for financial reasons. Mishka was overwhelmed by the shelter environment, so we took her home to foster. Mishka is everything you expect of a husky puppy: very affectionate, energetic, intelligent, curious, and chatty. She quickly mastered the doggy door and walking on a leash. She's house-trained and loves dogs, people, and even our cats. She does the most adorable bunny hops when she is trying to catch crickets or grasshoppers outdoors. She enjoys baths and being brushed. Daily brushing is important to keep her thick coat in good condition. She likes stuffed toys, Kongs with peanut butter, and antlers. She does need some more work on socialization as large, noisy crowds overwhelm her. When we first got her, she was very nervous about car rides, but she is already getting better. Mishka is a real sweetie who wants to give unconditional love. She really needs a home with a fenced yard because zoomies are a big part of her normal day, even with long daily walks. Mishka adores playing, so she needs a family with another energetic dog to play with and help keep her out of puppy-trouble, lol!HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight.
