Luna
AvailableLuna is a spayed female Lab/Heeler mix, considered a large breed with a medium coat. She’s a senior dog with a white/cream and brown/chocolate coat, currently living in Greeley, CO. House trained and vaccinated, Luna is in overall good health and is working on weight loss. She’s friendly with other dogs and would appreciate an adopter who can spend plenty of time with her.
About Luna
Luna is a large Lab/Heeler mix with a sweet temperament and a peaceful energy. At ten years old, she has been much loved, but her owners can no longer care for her due to their move. Luna is social—she gets along well with other dogs and enjoys meeting new people. Her day-to-day life has slowed down recently; she spends a lot of time napping and isn’t getting the exercise she needs, which has led to her being overweight (she currently weighs about 85 pounds, but is making progress on a weight-loss diet). Healthwise, Luna is in good shape for her age. She recently started taking medication for incontinence and is responding well. She’s house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Luna has been eating Farmer’s Dog food as part of her slim-down plan. She would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day and would especially enjoy the company of another older dog. Her gentle presence makes her a great companion, and despite slowing down a bit, she’s got a lot of love left to give. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
