Meet Hopscotch! This seven-month-old orange & white tripod tabby has already proven he’s braver than most. Just before Christmas, a kind young boy found him injured and made sure he got to safety, caring for him diligently until help could be found. When Hopscotch arrived at a rural shelter, he had deep wounds from an abscess believed to be caused by an animal attack. Sadly, the damage had cut off blood flow to his lower leg, and it couldn’t be saved. But don’t tell Hopscotch he’s missing anything — because he certainly doesn’t think so. His spirit has never wavered. He’s embraced his second chance at life with pure joy, zooming, playing, and loving as if nothing ever slowed him down. Being a tripaw hasn’t phased him one bit — if anything, it just makes him extra special. Now fully recovered and thriving, Hopscotch is everything you could want in a kitten. He’s incredibly loving, sweet beyond words, and happiest when he’s playing, cuddling, or being cradled like a baby in your arms.
