Sparks is a young, neutered male tabby and domestic short hair mix with orange, red, and white fur. He is house trained and lives with cerebellar hypoplasia, causing him to wobble when he moves, but it doesn’t impact his playful spirit. Sparks is currently located in Knoxville, TN, and is looking for a home that can appreciate his special way of moving through life.

About Sparks

Sparks is one of a kind. He and his sisters, Elko and Henderson, all have cerebellar hypoplasia (CH)—a rare neurological condition that affects balance and coordination. For Sparks, this means he wobbles and flip flops with every move, and he’s the most affected of his litter. Despite the wobbles, Sparks is just as playful as any young cat. He’ll chase down toys, especially ones he can launch, and when playtime’s done, his favorite place is snuggled into your neck, soaking up affection. Sparks uses a low-sided litter box but often finds it easiest to use a pee pad near the box. He eats lying down but does not need extra help. Ideally, Sparks would go home with his sister Henderson, but it’s required that his adopter already has a playful, friendly cat for him to bond with. Sparks gets along with other cats, dogs, and kids. Give this unique kitten a chance—he’ll bring joy and a bit of chaos to your home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
