After fostering for three days. She appears to be a yellow Lab mix with distinctive scruffy hair. Candy is sweet but shy, though her shyness is already beginning to subside. She enjoys affection and has quickly overcome her initial fear of the outdoors, successfully joining me on short walks. Regarding her temperament with other pets, she enjoys the company of my older resident dog and, while she would like him to play, she is respectful of his boundaries. In terms of house training, she does not soil her crate and will go potty on a leash, typically going within five minutes. She is currently experiencing some separation anxiety—characterized by crying and barking when left alone in her crate—but I believe this is typical puppy behavior that will improve with time. I have already noticed progress in this area.
