Manx
AvailableManx is a buff and white, senior domestic medium hair cat currently in Bellmawr, NJ. With his medium-length coat and calm demeanor, Manx is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, house trained, and has special needs related to his FIV status. He would thrive in a stable, indoor-only environment where he can take it easy and feel secure.
About Manx
Manx is a survivor. This 12-year-old gentleman spent years toughing it out on the streets, relying on grit and raw instinct. Since being retired from outdoor life, Manx has received a thorough dental treatment to relieve long-standing discomfort from bad teeth. Now, he’s finally discovering what comfort really means: soft beds, consistent meals, and the possibility that humans might be safe. Manx is FIV positive, so he needs to stay indoors to protect his health. FIV isn’t contagious to people or non-cats, and he can safely live with calm, non-aggressive cats. He’s still adapting—sometimes resorting to a random hiss when he feels on edge. This isn’t malice but the language of a cat trying his best to trust again. He needs a patient adopter who values the quiet victories: a slow blink, the moment he decides not to hide, the trust that builds over small, steady milestones. Manx would do best in a peaceful home where he’s given room to acclimate and zero demand for excitement or perfection. After a lifetime of surviving, he’s ready to rest and feel safe at last. If you believe in the slow magic of second chances, Manx might be your kind of cat. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
