Boo Ann, a short-hair multicolor, (black grey white) has lived with my mother since she was weaned. Her life revolves around my mother, and my mother only leaves her home once a month to see a doctor. Homebound pretty much. She is loving and affectionate with my mom, loves to have her low back and tail "pet". She lounges between Mom's bed and a daybed in the living room. She likes to play with the "fishing pole/feather toys" occasionally. Spends time looking out the window, and will chase bugs if seen. Always indoors, as they live on the 11th floor. Likes little tastes of cheese and ice cream and other people food, but limited as to not upset her delicate stomach. Fully litter box trained, as long as it's cleaned regularly. She's inquisitive about visitors, sometimes will allow a quick pet, but always on her terms. She down not like being picked up. She's never really been around other animals. A few dogs have visited, and she hides. So we really do not know how she would do with other animals long term. An idea placement would be someone that would take her in and give her the time and space she needs to adjust. Slow and steady. Someone looking for an independent companion. Someone with a lot of love and patience.
