"Dogs are the most faithful of friends." This makes us think of Ruger, who is ready to be your new best friend. He is two years old and weighs 80 pounds. He is a sweet and good natured dog. Ruger is a very strong and enthusiastic companion on daily walks. He will help you get your daily exercise, and would be a fine hiking or running companion, too. Ruger loves time in the fenced yard, where he zooms around in total joy. It's a great outlet for his abundant energy. Ruger enjoys toys, and tennis balls are special favorites. One of our volunteers says: "Ruger is is well trained. He knows sit, stay, wait, drop it, and down, and when he pulls, if you give him correction, he takes it immediately."
