About Miso

Meet your new tiny boss, Miso! This one-year-old dilute calico-torbie has no shortage of personality and isn't shy about running the household. She adores pets—specifically on the top of her head and chin, and she'll be quick to remind you of these boundaries if you stray. After surviving on the street as a single mom and recovering from a serious uterine infection, she's ready for a life filled with soft beds and lots of attention (on her terms, of course). Miso is a food and attention enthusiast, quick to charm but selective about how and when she wants affection. She typically prefers to be the only cat in the house but copes with other calm cats in larger spaces, and she has gotten along with all the dogs she’s met so far. Kids who understand and respect her signals would make good companions for her. She’s happiest as an indoor queen where she can nap in the bed and run the show. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and negative for FIV/FeLV. Fostering is also available with supplies and vet care provided. Miso wants nothing more than a home where her boundaries are respected and the snacks are delivered promptly. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
