Meet Penelope! Penelope is approximately 11 months old, ~40 lbs currently and she is a Mutt. She was found as a stray at a boat ramp that is a known dumping ground. She is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and hasn't had any leash walking experience yet. She could go to a home with teens and other dogs. No apartments, please! She is initially shy and would benefit from a home with a fenced yard and another young dog. Her foster says, "Penelope is a beautiful, medium-sized sweetheart (about 40 lbs) with the softest heart. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her playful and loving personality shines. She absolutely loves other dogs and really blossoms with a canine friend by her side! Penelope is both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a patient, loving home.
