Meet Vikki AKA Nova: Vikki, also known as Nova, is a 4-year-old Black Lab who originally came to us from Puerto Rico in 2021. She was recently returned to our care because her adopters felt she would be most comfortable in a kid-free home or one with older children who can respect her gentle nature. Vikki is a very sweet girl who is still adjusting to being back in the rescue environment. She can be shy or timid when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe and settled, she blossoms into a true cuddle bug who loves affection and companionship. She does well with other dogs and is housetrained, making her an easy addition to the right home. With patience, consistency, and a calm environment, Vikki is sure to continue gaining confidence and showing her loving personality. She's looking for a peaceful, understanding home where she can feel secure and cherished.
