At just 9 months old, this beautiful Black Lab mix has already had quite the journey. Found wandering as a stray in Louisiana, Wanda was thankfully scooped up by a rescue who made sure she was safe and loved until she could make her way to us. Now, she’s ready to find the forever home she’s been waiting for. Wanda is the definition of jovial. She’s happiest when she’s playing with other dogs and has a naturally submissive play style, which means she gets along wonderfully with all kinds of canine friends. Watching her run is guaranteed to make you smile — her long legs are still catching up with the rest of her, so she’s delightfully clumsy, and her big floppy ears bounce with every joyful stride. Beyond her playful side, Wanda is a total lover girl. She absolutely craves touch and affection and will happily snuggle up to anyone willing to let her close. There’s something so endearing about her unassuming, sweet nature — she has a soft, happy disposition that makes people fall for her instantly. She does well with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a wonderful addition to many types of families. Wanda is potty-trained and crate-trained, and while she knows her basic manners, she sometimes forgets them when excitement takes over (she’s still a puppy, after all!). Wanda would thrive in just about any kind, caring home that will continue to guide her as she grows — physically and emotionally — into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
