About Sinatra
Sinatra is a 2.5 year old Wheaton Terrier mix weighing 33 pounds with a story of incredible strength and resilience. Sinatra (affectionatley known as Frankie) was brutally attacked by another dog and suffered devastating wounds to his neck that nearly cost him his life. Instead of receiving immediate medical care, he was left to try to heal on his own for 10 long days. When his condition became too severe, he was brought to the animal shelter. Because of the seriousness of his injuries and the high cost of surgery, euthanasia was being considered. When HFG Rescue received the call, they immediately stepped in to save him. Sinatra needed urgent, life-saving surgery and extensive repair to properly treat his neck wounds. After multiple surgeries and weeks of dedicated care, he is now ready for his forever family. Through it all, his spirit has never broken. Watching him heal and bounce back has been nothing short of incredible. Despite everything he has endured, Sinatra is unbelievably sweet. He loves to nuzzle up to you and rub against you almost like a cat. He will even “sing” for you with his adorable howls. He is playful with soft toys, happily tossing them to you and waiting for you to throw them back. Sinatra is good with older children, dogs, and cats. He is a true survivor with a heart full of love, ready to leave his painful past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will cherish him forever. Sinatra is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. **Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application.
