Bolt
AvailableBolt is a Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix with a gentle temperament. At 1 year and 8 months old, he is a neutered male, considered medium-sized, and sports a yellow and cream coat. He is house trained, vaccinated, and currently settling in Apache Junction, AZ. Bolt is looking for a patient home where he can continue blooming into his best self.
About Bolt
Bolt might have landed at a horse sanctuary first, but wide open spaces aren’t his thing. He prefers comfort, calm, and a steady rhythm. After being pulled from the euthanasia list, he started his foster journey in the city, and that’s much more his speed. Raised as part of an accidental litter, he stayed with his original family longer than his siblings, only ending up in rescue when things didn’t work out. At one year and eight months, Bolt is in a transition, figuring out the world. He needs patient people who understand adjustment takes time. In a home, you’ll find him wiggly, drawn to belly rubs, food-motivated—especially by sweet potatoes, bacon, or eggs. Walks come easy for Bolt; he strolls the neighborhood quietly and gets along with other dogs without a fuss. Zero reactivity, all calm. Bolt is neutered, house trained, and vaccinated. If you’re ready for a loving companion who just wants a little understanding, Bolt could be the one. Start your journey together! Apply now.
