The world is still pretty big and scary for him, so he can be timid during a first meeting, but he’s getting braver every day. Once he knows you’re a friend, he’ll somersault into your lap for belly rubs. He’s a soft soul who prefers gentle play over roughhousing. If no one’s available to play, Okie’s happy to entertain himself with a chew toy or find a comfy place to nap. Training has been going great! He’s still working on being calm in his crate during the day, but he sleeps through the night (and doesn’t mind sleeping in on the weekends). He knows to go to the door when he needs outside and he sits patiently for treats. Currently, he has a minor eye infection that’s being treated, and his foster has no issues getting him to take his medication for it.
