Harlow is a striking pit bull mix, recently returned to the rescue after spending nearly her whole life in a loving home. She lost her family not because of her behavior, but due to a child's severe allergies—something out of everyone's control. Despite her serious face, Harlow is a gentle, polite companion who's terrific with children, adjusts quickly to routines, and excels in new environments like the vet. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and doesn’t chew things up—truly an easy dog to have around. Harlow leans into affection, loving nothing more than to settle next to you on the couch or snuggle up at bedtime if she’s invited. She craves long walks and the chance to explore beside her favorite people, and when she’s feeling playful, expect zoomies and enthusiastic kisses. Tug-of-war is a favorite pastime. This girl picks up on training quickly but can be a bit stubborn, so she thrives with clear boundaries and a confident owner. She pulls on leash sometimes, though she responds well to guidance and repetition. Harlow hasn’t spent much time with other dogs, but has made a few canine friends at the rescue; with slow introductions, she could share a home with the right dog, but would also be content as your only companion.
