About Lox
Meet Lox, a wirehaired terrier mix with a story as memorable as his name. After surviving in the streets with his buddy Bagel, Lox has truly come into his own since rescue. At around 5 to 7 years old and full grown at about 45 pounds, he’s the picture of an easygoing, loyal companion. It’s tough to rattle Lox—he takes everything in stride and now soaks up every ounce of affection he can get. Lox handles a leash with ease and prefers long, quiet snuggles on the couch over chaos. He lives peacefully alongside other dogs and cats. No destructive habits, no messy accidents, and no barking fits—just calm, crate-trained reliability. His handsome red and white wiry coat fits his mellow, gentle demeanor. Lox is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, but will need a heartworm retest nine months after starting his slow-kill treatment. He’s ready to finally settle in with a family who’ll keep him safe and happy for good. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
