About Kodak
Kodak is a neutered male German Shepherd with a big personality and plenty of heart. Pulled from a Mississippi shelter at the last minute due to overcrowding, Kodak is looking for a forever home that understands the breed. He's five years old and up to date on all vaccinations. Kodak is gentle and friendly — he actively seeks out people, sharing affection but preferring cuddles on his own terms. His love for toys runs deep. He won’t rest until he’s emptied the toy bin each day, and games of fetch or anything with a squeak will get his full attention. He already knows several commands (sit, down, backup, shake) and is working on “stay.” Training him is easy since he’s food motivated and curious about the world. Leash walking is effortless with Kodak: he’s steady, calm, and unfazed by city energy, though he’s got a unique ‘moo’ of protest when a truck rolls by. Crate time is no problem — Kodak will even tuck himself into his crate when he wants downtime. Housebroken and calm with other dogs (even those with big personalities), he also gets along with cats. He would do best in a home with older children, as his energy and size may not match with tiny kids. Kodak is waiting in Kimberton, PA, for someone with German Shepherd or similar experience to give him the commitment and care he deserves. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
