About Lou Aka Lover

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Lou, also known as Lover, is a charming mixed breed terrier who will win your heart from the start! Rescued as a puppy with his siblings from rural northern Arkansas, Lou has grown into a playful, loving, and intelligent companion. He doesn't leap or demand; rather, he gently rises onto his back legs and places his paws softly on your thigh, gazing at you with his adoring eyes as if to say, "I love you." Lou currently weighs about 45 pounds and is finished growing. With a short black and white coat, he's both dapper and ready for adventure. This sweet boy thrives on affection, adores being the center of attention, and especially loves children, making him a fantastic family dog. He's lively, quick to learn, and eager to please, so completing his potty training in a home environment should be easy for him. Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Lou is also up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention, and will receive a health certificate and negative fecal test before travel. He currently enjoys an indoor/outdoor kennel setup but will easily adapt to a loving home. The rescue supports adopters throughout the process, including video calls and transport to New England states, taking care to find the very best match. Ready to roll? Adoption fee covers Lou’s travel to many New England cities. This could be the start of something paw-some.
