Roscoe is a Great Pyrenees Golden Retriever mix who is approximately 5 years old and a thick 58 pounds of pure love. He is a heartworm survivor who recently completed treatment and is currently working through his 8 week post treatment rest period, which means his ideal home will be one that can support calm, low key activities while he finishes healing. Roscoe has the dopey, fun loving personality of a Golden Retriever mixed with the outdoor loving soul of a Great Pyrenees. He absolutely adores people and believes personal space is optional. If you sit down, there is a very good chance Roscoe will climb right into your lap. He loves everyone he meets and expects consistent pets as part of any proper introduction. Roscoe enjoys other dogs, though he prefers that they respect his food and toys. He is wonderful with cats and will happily let them snuggle into his fluffy coat. Around the house, he enjoys chewing on his Benebones, lazily following his people from room to room, and soaking up all the affection he can get. Roscoe is quiet in his crate overnight and doing exceptionally well with potty training.
