Meet Fancy! Fancy is a one year old Pitty-supermutt mix with a beautiful black and white coat and the sweetest, most gentle soul. She and her siblings were literally dropped over the fence at the Bakersfield Shelter in July. One was adopted quickly, but Fancy and her two littermates ended up waiting over 80 days before our rescue stepped in to give them a new beginning. Fancy was the shyest of the three, but she got to work with an in home trainer and has become so much more outgoing. Right now, she’s a little shy but curious, and with patience, she would truly thrive. She loves watching her siblings play and is beginning to join in, little by little. We expect Fancy to grow to around 50 pounds when full grown. She's up to date on vaccines and was recently spayed. Fancy was learning stay and doing well! She’s very playful with other dogs and once she settled in, she likes to cuddle and sleep next to you. Overall, she’s responsive to learning and enjoys doing some tricks for treats. Also a perfect small size but ready to hike! She’s so surprisingly small when you meet her. Fancy will thrive in a calm, patient home that will give her time, structure, and gentle encouragement. With love and security, this shy girl will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion.
