About Daria
Daria has a gentle way about her and fits right in as a 35-40 lb medium-sized Terrier. She came back to rescue through no fault of her own, after her owners separated and moved away. She is housebroken and crate trained—though frankly, she doesn’t need the crate. Daria gets along with the other eight dogs in her foster home and enjoys sleeping with both dogs and foster mom. Meeting new people is tough for her at first; she can be wary or a bit vocal, though her nerves ease up pretty quickly once she feels safe. Life in a busy household or with kids isn’t her speed. A calm, quiet home suits Daria best, ideally with an older single person or couple who move at her pace. She’s past the wild puppy years and just wants comfort, consistency, and companionship. Daria is fully spayed and has up-to-date vaccinations. She’s currently living in St. Louis, MO, and would love a local adopter ready to offer her the peaceful life she deserves.
