This handsome orange tabby with white male 2-year-old is looking for a forever home that is the right fit for him. Kovu was rescued from a local animal control where he was at risk of euthanasia. He is ready for his happily ever after. Kovu would do best with an experienced adopter. He is very friendly and greets everyone that stops to spend time with him, but he can get over-stimulated at times. He tends to be mouthy when excited. He is not attempting to be aggressive, this is just his way of playing and showing affection. Being in a kitty tower all day is likely contributing and he will act this way when he does not want people to stop petting him. Sadly, he has probably never had anyone care or spend enough time with him to correct him and teach him acceptable behaviors. He is very interested in interacting with people, he just needs someone willing to teach him the proper social skills. Kovu would be best in a home without small children and with experienced cat owners. He would likely benefit from another young cat that would accept his style of play and help him to burn off some energy. Having interactive toys and a stimulating environment would be beneficial. Kovu is a good boy that loves people. In the right home, with adopters that are willing to work with him, he will become a wonderful pet.
