About Cosmo
Meet Cosmo ā A Tiny Life Saved Just in Time Cosmo was born on 2/1/2026 to courageous mama Hailey after she endured heartbreaking neglect. Chained, abandoned, and left to fight for survival, Hailey still gave everything she had to safely bring seven precious puppies into the world. Cosmo is one of those little miracles. At just about 3 weeks old, Cosmo is still in that tender newborn stage ā all velvety fur, tiny stretches, and sleepy little sighs. His world right now is simple and safe: nursing beside his mama, cuddling in warm puppy piles with his siblings, and drifting off to sleep without a single worry. He doesnāt know how close his beginning came to tragedy. He only knows comfort now. And that comfort is here to stay. Cosmo is growing stronger every day. His eyes are opening wider, his tiny legs wobbling with more determination, and his personality slowly beginning to shine. He represents hope ā proof that love can rewrite even the hardest beginnings. Because he is still nursing and learning essential life lessons from his mama, Cosmo will be ready for his forever home once he is fully weaned, at approximately 8 to 9 weeks of age. These early weeks are critical for healthy development, and we are committed to giving him the very best start possible. He will never know chains. He will never know hunger. He will never have to struggle just to survive. Instead, Cosmo will grow up surrounded by kindness, stability, and a forever family who will cherish him every single day. His story began in hardship ā but it is unfolding in love. And his future is shining bright. š¤š¾āØ Adoption Policy: Montague County Animal Rescue typically does not adopt dogs to homes where they will live primarily outdoors. We believe every dog deserves to be part of the family and live safely indoors. Exceptions may be made for specific breeds or unique circumstances where an outdoor environment is appropriate and secure.
