About Nova
Meet Nova â A Tiny Life Saved Just in Time Nova was born on 2/1/2026 to courageous mama Hailey after she endured unimaginable neglect. Chained, abandoned, and struggling just to survive, Hailey still brought seven precious babies safely into the world. Nova is one of those little miracles. At just about 3 weeks old, Nova is still in that tender newborn stage â all soft fur, tiny stretches, and the sweetest little squeaks. His days revolve around nursing, snuggling close to his siblings, and sleeping peacefully beside his mama. He doesnât know how uncertain his beginning was â he only knows warmth, full bellies, and safety now. And thatâs exactly how it should be. Nova is getting stronger by the day. His eyes are opening wider, his wobbly steps growing steadier, and his world expanding just a little more with each sunrise. He represents hope â a fresh start born out of resilience and compassion. Because he is still nursing and learning critical early lessons from his mama, Nova will be ready for his forever home once he is fully weaned, at approximately 8 to 9 weeks of age. These early weeks are essential for his development, and we are committed to giving him the very best foundation possible. He will never know chains. He will never know hunger. He will never have to fight just to survive. Instead, Nova will grow up surrounded by care, security, and a family who will cherish him for the rest of his life. His story began in hardship â but it is unfolding in love. And his future is bright. đ€đŸâš Adoption Policy: Montague County Animal Rescue typically does not adopt dogs to homes where they will live primarily outdoors. We believe every dog deserves to be part of the family and live safely indoors. Exceptions may be made for specific breeds or unique circumstances where an outdoor environment is appropriate and secure.
