About Celeste
Meet Celeste â A Tiny Life Saved Just in Time Celeste was born on 2/1/2026 to courageous mama Hailey after she endured unimaginable neglect. Chained, abandoned, and fighting to survive, Hailey still gave everything she had to bring her seven babies into the world. Celeste is one of those little miracles. At just about 3 weeks old, Celeste is still in that precious newborn stage â all soft fur, sleepy stretches, and the sweetest little squeaks. Her days are spent nursing, cuddling in warm puppy piles with her siblings, and resting safely beside her mama. She doesnât know how fragile her beginning was â she only knows comfort and care now. And that is exactly how it should be. Celeste is growing stronger every day, her tiny eyes taking in the world a little more, her wobbly steps becoming steadier. She represents resilience, hope, and the promise of a life that will be filled with love instead of hardship. Because she is still nursing and learning from her mama, Celeste will be ready for her forever home once she is fully weaned, at approximately 8 to 9 weeks of age. These early weeks are so important for her development, and we are committed to giving her the very best start possible. She will never know chains. She will never know hunger. She will never have to fight to survive. Instead, Celeste will grow up knowing gentle hands, full bowls, and a family who will cherish her every single day. Her story may have started in uncertainty â but it is unfolding in safety, hope, and love. And her brightest days are still ahead. NOTE: Note: Adoption Policy: Montague County Animal Rescue typically does not adopt dogs to homes where they will live primarily outdoors. We believe every dog deserves to be part of the family and live safely indoors. Exceptions may be made for specific breeds or unique circumstances where an outdoor environment is appropriate and secure.
