Meet Candy — a gentle puppy discovering the good in the world. Candy is an approximately 10-week-old puppy from a litter that was cruelly dumped and left scared and uncertain. When they were first found, the puppies stayed close together, seeking comfort in one another as they tried to make sense of a frightening situation. Now safe in foster care, Candy is beginning to settle into what puppyhood is meant to feel like. Her foster family is working patiently on basic manners and potty training, while showing her that love comes in the form of consistency, kindness, and reassurance. Candy is learning routines, gaining confidence, and starting to show glimpses of her sweet personality. She’s still very much a baby — curious, impressionable, and ready to grow into a wonderful companion with the right guidance and a calm, loving home. With time and patience, Candy will blossom into a loyal and affectionate dog. She’s looking for a family who understands that some of the best dogs are shaped by compassion and second chances. We believe every dog deserves to be part of the family and live safely indoors.
