Don't let her strong look fool you! Honey Bee is a sweet gal with a soft heart and a little sparkle of sass. Like her name suggests, she's sweet as can be... but she does take a little time to warm up. Once you're in her circle, though, you're in for good. She bonds deeply and loves her people. Honey Bee can be selective with new folks and appreciates slow, respectful introductions. She's looking for a calm home where she can feel secure and understood. She would do best as the only pet, she wants all the love (and honestly, she deserves it). She's a big fan of the pool and would happily spend her golden years soaking up the sunshine and splashing around. On walks, she may pull at first (she gets excited!), but after a few steps she settles into an easy, enjoyable stroll. She does have some joint issues, so a home that has soft beds, shorter adventures, and lots of love would be perfect for her. She will need to be in lifelong pain management to make her as comfortable as possible!
