Hey there, I’m Gunner. I’m five years old, full of heart, and built for fun. I grew up with small children and was always gentle with them, but I’ll admit I sometimes forget just how big I am. Every now and then I can tumble a toddler in my excitement, so I need to meet all the kids in the home to make sure we’re a good match. I never mean to cause trouble; I just have a lot of love and enthusiasm to share. I’m happiest when I’m moving. Running, hiking, wrestling with another dog who can keep up with me, or chasing a ball across the yard are some of my favorite things. I’m still working on the whole "bring the ball back" part, but I make up for it with charm. When the adventure winds down, I settle beautifully and turn into a first-class snuggler. Curling up with my people after a long day is one of life’s great joys. I’ve been told I’m kennel trained and housetrained, which makes settling into a new home much easier. I’m also the kind of dog who’s up for anything. Car rides, trail walks, lazy afternoons on the couch binge-watching your latest show—I’m all in.
