About Danny

Danny is a senior boy, estimated to be around 12, with mostly black fur and no tail. He arrived from a local shelter, carrying signs of a rough past—he was missing much of his fur due to a flea allergy and had both eye and ear infections. None of this stopped him from softening up quickly with some good vet care and several baths; his fur is improving and so are his spirits. These days, Danny is a laid-back companion who navigates some age-related hearing loss and a slightly unsteady gait. He prefers the company of other dogs, doing especially well with the senior alum in his foster home. He’s gentle with cats and doesn’t need much exercise, though regular strolls on leash suit him. House training is still in progress. Danny can get anxious if he's alone, so he’ll need a home with another dog. He took a little time to get used to car rides but now hops in willingly. Overall, he’s easygoing and ready for a quiet home where someone can give him comfort and company. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
