Meet Fern: Fern is about a 2 year old (as of January 2026) border collie mix (best guess) that weighs around 47 pounds. Fern was brought into a shelter in Arkansas with her 6 puppies (unfortunately only 2 puppies survived). Our rescue heard about Fern and her 3 week old pups and were able to find a foster home to get them into a lower stress environment. Fern and her pups are currently being fostered in the Lancaster, PA area and would love to meet their forever families. Fern is very friendly and sweet. We are still assessing Fern's house training status. We would love for Fern to have a home with a fenced in yard so she can run and play freely. Fern is getting up to date on her shots and is spayed.
