About Lilan

Lilan’s story is a real testament to perseverance. At 7 and a half, Lilan has seen her share of heartbreak and hope. After being surrendered, she endured months in the shelter, only to have her first adoption collapse within a day—through no fault of her own. That level of stress nearly broke her, but just before the deadline, a foster stepped in, and things finally turned around. From there, Lilan got her second chance: a trip to South Dakota, friendships with dogs like Charlie Brown and Mildred, and successful surgery for mast cell removal. She’s now cancer-free, spayed, and vaccinated. Lilan enjoys snuggles, loves fetch, and walks well on leash. She’s crate-trained, happy to live as an only dog or with select dog friends, though cats aren’t a fit for her. Her playful, loving nature has endured every challenge—she brings a spark of joy to everyone she meets. She’s ready to bring that joy to a true forever home. Ready to fall in love?
