About Bruce
Meet Bruce – Your Hospice Adventure Buddy Bruce is a 6-year-old, 45-pound sweetheart pulled from a Houston shelter a few weeks ago. After noticing he wasn’t gaining weight, diagnostics showed he is in Stage 3 kidney failure. Bruce is also heartworm positive (HW+), and due to his kidney condition, the vet does not recommend fast-kill treatment. Despite his diagnosis, Bruce is happy, silly, affectionate, and incredibly friendly. He loves everyone he meets and truly acts like he feels great. He is crate trained, potty trained, and comes with his meds, special food, and a joyful, easygoing spirit. We don’t know how long Bruce has, but right now he’s comfortable and enjoying life. Until he tells us he’s ready, we want his days filled with love, comfort, and as many adventures as possible. Bruce is looking for: A hospice adopter to work on his bucket list! Weekend getaways Walks near or far Couch cuddle sessions Chicken nugget dates Any fun (not super illegal lol) social outing Located in Houston Transport included Bruce deserves a soft landing and someone willing to love him for whatever time he has left. If you’ve ever considered hospice adoption, this goofy, loving boy would be honored to spend his days by your side.
