Pickles is a handsome, loving 3-year old boy. Pickles is a unique boy, as he is not crazy about toys and playing. He would much prefer a nap near the window as the sun shines through or a snuggle with his human. After living a rough life outside, we rescued Pickles when he was beat up and scared. After time to heal and learn to trust humans, he has become one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet! He loves pets and scratches on the head and around his ears....and he just might meow at you when you stop petting him too soon! Pickles is so laid back. Though we have spoiled him rotten, offering all sorts of toys and treats.....he is completely content just snuggling beside us. We think he just feels so content being loved and cared for by humans, and he feels safe inside. Pickles would need to remain an indoor cat. His personality completely changed once he realized he was safe and cozy inside....never having to fend for himself outside again. Pickles was beat up on by a mean, feral cat before we rescued him....and he's been reluctant to make friends with our other fosters. He would probably do best as an only cat--or in a home with other laid-back cats who will give him space and be patient with him. Pickles will also do best in a home with no dogs.
