About Buster

Hi, my name is Buster! I'm a PURPLE pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home: -Personality: Active, Goofy -Can Live with Kids: STURDY dog-savvy 12+ kids who don't mind a bit of slobber. -Can Live with Cats: Has lived with a cat in the past - likely okay with a confident dog-savvy cat who can stand its ground and won't run away. SLOW & SUPERVISED INTRODUCTIONS AND INTERACTIONS -Can Live with Dogs: Yes, all introductions done at WHS. -Can do Apartment Living: No Thanks! High Energy and at 100+ pounds Buster needs more space to thrive. -Potty Trained: Appears to Be. -Bite History: Nope. -Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No but would be highly beneficial! -Energy Level: HIGH -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a Neuter and Microchip provided by WHS. -Additional Information: Meet Buster - 100+ pounds of pure excitement wrapped up in a big, handsome black Lab body. He’s the friendliest wrecking ball you’ll ever meet, bursting into every room with a wagging tail, wiggly hips, and the kind of enthusiasm that makes you smile instantly. Life with Buster is never dull; he greets each day like it’s the best one yet and wants nothing more than to share that joy with his people. Buster absolutely adores attention and thrives on being part of the action. He’s affectionate, playful, and deeply loyal, forming strong bonds with the people he loves. At his size, though, all that excitement can be a lot of dog! He doesn’t always realize just how big he is, especially when he’s happy to see you or heading out for a walk. What Buster really needs is a stable, committed home that can give him consistency and routine. He’s a smart boy with tons of potential, and some basic training would go a long way particularly when it comes to learning to walk calmly on leash. With structure, patience, and positive guidance, he’ll blossom into an incredible companion. Buster would do best with someone confident and ready to embrace a large, enthusiastic dog who loves big and lives big.
