Meet Marmalade (formerly Willow), a soft-hearted orange girl starting a fresh chapter. She came into rescue because she wasn't getting along with the other cats in her previous home. Since being in her foster home, after slow, thoughtful introductions to a calm feline companion, she's doing great with other cats. Her previous owner describes her as affectionate, cuddly, and loving - especially with dogs! She's litter box trained, good with children of all ages, and comfortable around dogs. That's a pretty wonderful combination. Right now she's been with her foster under a week so she's still pretty timid. It's only been a few days, and big changes can feel overwhelming. She hasn't shown any aggression - she's simply taking her time to feel safe. For a sensitive cat, that's completely normal. The right home will understand that the first few days (or even weeks) are about patience and gentle reassurance. What we do know is that she LOVES Churu! Once she settles in, we expect she'll be the kind of cat who quietly appears beside you and melts into your lap.
