At four months old, Leoni was one of 65 felines rescued from a hoarding situation. Truamatized, she was originally dubbed cat “11” and loaded into a cage. She was terrified of strangers. When she landed in our foster care, this frightened little girl was renamed and drawn into socialization. At 8 months, "Leoni" has flourished! She has made friends with our house kitties, and even gone nose-to-nose with our boxer for a wee “nice to meet you” sniff. She cruises the house behind our elder kitty, and entertains us in our leisure. Kitten 11 received little human contact. But for gentle Leoni, human touch and playful moments are the norm. She relishes pets and scratches in her perch. There’s no going back now. Leoni is offered as an indoor only pet, and is a litter-box pro.
