About Benji
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Benji stands out as an endearing mixed breed, an unusual blend with a husky mother and a shih tzu/pomeranian father, but his appearance channels a large Westie at 42 pounds and a little over a year old. His expressive eyes and scruffy whiskers bring to mind a canine movie star, though Benji himself is an introvert at heart and shies away from the limelight. Due to limited socialization early in life, Benji can be skittish in new environments and around unfamiliar people, but once he settles in, he reveals a playful, sweet-natured side and is still very much a puppy in spirit. A key to Benji’s comfort is the companionship of other dogs—he feels much safer and happier with a canine friend, so he needs a home with another dog to help him thrive. Benji does shed and is not recommended for allergy sufferers. He is neutered and his vaccinations are up to date, ensuring he is healthy and ready to join his new family. What are you waiting for?
