About Benji
Benji is an unusual mix: his mom was a husky, dad a shih tzu/pomeranian, but he ended up looking much like a large Westie at about 42lbs. Heās just over a year old and has a scruffy face with expressive, searching eyes. Benji tends to keep to himself with new faces or places and startles easilyāhe didnāt get a lot of exposure to the wider world in his previous home. But once he feels safe, he loosens up and acts like the playful young dog he still is at heart. He relies on canine companionship for confidence and will need another dog in the home who can help him relax and come out of his shell. Benji is not hypoallergenic and does shed, so allergy sufferers should look elsewhere. He is neutered and his vaccinations are up to date. Give this quirky introvert a patient home with a dog buddy and watch him grow. Your new best friend is just one click away.
