Our poor sweet Max has been traumatize by the changes in his life. He had to leave his home because it had become unsafe for him. One of the people living with him had health issues which would cause him to be left outside accidentally. He would run! He is very nerves and just not feeling comfortable yet. We are working with them so he will understand he is safe but the kennel stress is just not working in his favor. He does seem to take courage and comforter from the other dogs when it is a more one on one. A calm quiet environment will be good for him. He is just over 2 years of age and approx. 47lbs. He is a bit over weight and does need more exercise then he had been getting. A better diet will also be a benefit. We highly recommend a family that knows this breed. They are very bright and have engery. Their bodies and minds need to be exercised equilty. If not they do get bored and will find entertainment on their own. Monte is a very handsome, wonderful dog .
