About Mochi
Goofy, chatty, and strikingly beautiful: Mochi is a dramatic little dilute tortie looking for her people! Mochi is a striking dilute tortie with a perfectly split face and a personality just as bold as her look. This vocal, high-energy girl has plenty to say, especially when it comes to mealtime. Her little meow cry is equal parts dramatic and hilarious. If you love a cat with character and commentary, Mochi delivers. Playful and interactive, Mochi loves a toy or an adventure. Wand toys are a big hit with her, and she's been especially happy wrestling with her foster's resident cat. She has a kind of puppy-like play style and will roughhouse with humans, complete with gentle "gotcha!" bite that's all play and no harm. While she's not much for being held, she does enjoy being near her people and will curl up at your feet when she's ready to settle down. She's inquisitive (delightfully nosy, even) but also impressively unbothered once she's comfortable. She settles in quickly and likes being part of whatever's going on. In her foster home, she's been great with humans and the resident cat, but we haven't observed Mochi around a dog. She came to PAWS from ACCT after her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. Per her intake, she was described as great with strangers, children, and dogs. Though we have not directly observed her around dogs, we have no reason to believe she wouldn't be great with them too. Since she's a youthful four years old and social, she would likely enjoy a home with another playful cat or two to keep her stimulated, though she could also thrive as a solo cat in a home that enjoys some playtime. If you're looking for a goofy, confident, entertaining companion in a truly stunning tortie package, Mochi might be your girl. ------------------------------------ This cat is currently located in a PAWS foster home.
